Festival Parade and Coronation - 08.09.2025
Avery is a Senior at Tri-City United High School in Montgomery. Her parents are Justin and Heather Lerfald. When asked why she wanted to become a Lonsdale Ambassador, Avery stated, "I would like to be a Lonsdale Ambassador because I would love the opportunity to represent my community through various parades, festivals, and towns. As a little ambassador I learned to overcome my anxiety and fear. I made new friends and by the end of my reign I was even able to publicly speak in front of crowds. As a Junior Ambassador I became a big sister to the littles and learned how to be a role model and how to set examples for others to follow. I can only imagine what attributes I can receive by becoming a Miss in the Lonsdale Ambassador program."
Avery has lived in Lonsdale her whole life. One of her earliest memories was seeing her name on the sign at Treats of Lonsdale and getting a free ice cream cone, because who doesn’t love free ice cream? Lonsdale introduced Avery to her love of softball through Little League which has led to her being a three time varsity letter winner, All-Conference, All-Section, and honored by her teammates with the “True Grit” award four times, offensive player of the year and 2024 captain. Lonsdale also introduced Avery to the Ambassadors Program where she has been fortunate enough to be crowned a little and junior ambassador. Ambassadors has given her more self confidence and she feels more connected to her community as she begins her junior year at Tri-City United high school this Fall where she is involved in National Honor Society, Art Team, varsity tennis, and varsity softball.
